Gweneth and Raquel

It has been a while since I've posted a new doll. But I managed to finish two knitted babes a few months ago and now they are ready to say hello to everyone. Meet Gweneth and Raquel they are the best of friends. Gweneth loves the outdoors and her favorite season is Spring. Raquel is really into fashion and loves to wear dresses. These two lovely ladies are new additions to my little gang of knitted dolls. These dolls are so much fun to make, I just wish I had more time to make more. Hopefully I'll have a new one to post very soon.

A new babe for the brave

My first babe for the brave for 2008. She is already packed up and ready to go to the post office in the morning. Her gown has cats on it and she comes with a mini quilt and a little kitty of her own. I know she will be well loved

A Babe and her llama April

A typically beautiful day by the Pacifica beach, ‘Babe’ and April her llama enjoy the sunshine. She is waiting to go home to a special young girl who wanted only a babe with bright orange hair, blue eyes, and a turquoise sweater! May she bring joy and give you companionship throughout each day! Moritz Steifel

After waiting about a hundred years (or since September anyway, when I was enlightened by my new roommate), I finally was able to see SPRING AWAKENING, the broadway musical! It was absolutely amazing, and I wish I could see it every day of my life..unfortunately I live in Wisconsin. But, before seeing the show I made a babe of my favorite character, Moritz Steifel. The current actor, Blake Bashoff, was able to sign it at the stage door after the show!...now if only I could get the original John Gallagher Jr. to sign him.... (as seen in the poster). Right now I just need to make a school uniform...
