Hello Kate!
You've done beautiful work! I am looking to start "Fifi." Although I'm a new knitter, am quite inspired by all the lovely creations on this site.
For a beginner, would you suggest a "kit" to start, or try the book?
Thanks in advance- and keep 'em coming!
Michele
I just love your doll! Im gonna copy it for myself! Any tips?

Thanks for the comments! I jumped right into the book...all the directions are very clear, just pick out your own yarn. I used both Rowan 4ply Cotton and Rowan Glace (another cotton). The colors are really awesome. I think the sweater is from the "Flo Tilly" section. I just didn't use the fair isle chart. Her pants are from the pattern in the book, and made out of old t-shirt. I sewed them by hand. Not my strongest skill, but they were tiny. Her scarf was a blast...crochet a chain out of some novelty yarn.
