Ming Wah

Good Morning! Just finished my second Knitted Babe. Her name is Ming Wah. You can see her there sitting next to Grayling. I used Paton baby yarn. It was pretty thin and very stretchy. When I went to stuff her she ended up a bit on the chubby side. I had quite a hard time deciding how to make her eyes. I'm pleased with the way they turned out. I knit her hair as I went along, rather than adding it when she was finished - except for the spritz on the top of her head. She is knit in the round and her hair was a hit or miss sort of thing as far as how to do it.

I love the way Grayling Starr is holding her hand in the pocket !! She looks like a real model in a magazine.

Thanks Dorte. They are awfully fun to make, aren't they. You just don't know what they will be like until they are finished.

Simply Fabulous!! I can't wait to try one!
I about to try to make Fifi myself (and a beginner knitter at that)- how long did you find it took you to make your creations?
