First Martian knitter (as far as we know...)

Toots spent October knitting.

She became rather obsessed.

As she lives in a knitting store, we weren't too concerned. We've seen this kind of behavior in new knitters. We kept asking her if she wanted to learn to bind off, and she would look horrified, so we backed off.

But when she began mumbling under her breath, we became concerned and leaned in closer.

"Knit for a cure... knit for a cure..."

We keep trying to explain the subleties of the English language to our little interstellar visitor, to no avail. But we love her fighting spirit.
