Switched to new Blogger

I'm having the same problem as Rhonda (a few posts down ). I have switched to the new blogger but cannot leave comments on any of the non-switched blogs. I hope everything gets switched over soon.

Here's what I wanted to comment on... :)
Congrats on being published in the calendar. Very nice Babe. I enjoy making the Babes but am currently making a larger doll from an old Rebecca Baby & Kids magazine. Everyone's Babes look fabulous! Keep up the good work!

First Knitted Babe - Molly McMuffin

Here she is - my first knitted babe. I'm already making her second outfit.
Shame I have to give her away. (She;s for a seven year old that I know.)
Never mind, there's plenty more 4ply...I think I may have to make another one for myself!!!

An ever-expanding wardrobe.

joy's athletic wear
Originally uploaded by forestpixie
When I introduced this babe, I incorrectly reported her name. In the hands of her new friend, my daughter, she was christened Joy. She was a Christmas gift, and I was almost too tired to be amused when my daughter came in and woke me up at 4am that night, because she'd lost Joy in the covers. I got up, found Joy, and everyone was able to go back to sleep.

She has many outfits, and changes into them with great regularity. Please take a look at them here!
Or visit my blog to see some notes about the origins of the clothing.

Problem leaving a comment ...

I've changed over to the new Blogger and since I had to use my gmail account, I'm having trouble signing in & leaving comments to Knitted Babes. Someone else is having trouble joining.

I keep getting the message: "Comments on this blog are restricted to team members." But I am a member!

Is there anyone that can help on this? Thanks!

Thelma Rig

Introducing Thelma Rig....
She's a nature lover and is really into adventure sports, especially rock climbing. She pays attention to what she eats - most likely because she is 100% organic (the yarn, that is) - and loves fish tacos. She eats granola for breakfast almost everyday but always without cinnamon.
Oh - and she is totally crafty!

I made Thelma for my 1 year old daughter and so far, she has lived up to the thrashing very well. We had a small issue with her lips but all is well now. She is made out of organic cotton yarn and wool stuffing. She was knit according to the instructions in "Knitted Babes" but I think next time, I will try knitting in the round. She is named after my grandmother & great aunt.
